Bio

JK Sellers has lived several lifetimes. He grew up on a cotton and cattle ranch in southern Arizona. After finding out that college was not for him, he followed his love of building things with his hands and worked in the carpenter trade for 20 years and then for a city maintenance department for another 19. The years of long hours, hard work and hard play finally caught up with him, so he decided to build something with his overactive imagination: a world full of exciting and interesting characters, faced with personal trials and deadly foes. He decided to write.

How could a construction worker with little or no college education become a writer? JK Sellers is one of those determined do-it-yourselfer kind of guys who was an avid reader from his youth. Knowing that the hunt and peck method he used on his computer wasn’t going to get him very far in the publishing world, he taught himself to use his keyboard with all ten fingers. Then he set about studying the art of writing fiction from authors such as James Scott Bell and Orson Scott Card.

To JK Sellers, exceptional writing is like building a superior, high quality house. He has found that a powerful novel begins with a solid, well thought out plan. These great stories are built on the foundation of compelling and gripping plots. Around the plot is wrapped an intricate framework of world creation, of interesting settings and political intrigue all populated with fascinating and compelling characters. This world setting is furnished with a well-crafted mixture of conflict and riveting interaction. Long hours and much attention to details results in an 'elegant home' where anyone would, not only want to visit but would enjoy immersing oneself in the intricate weave of interesting characters overcoming intense conflict and personal danger.

This is the world JK Sellers created in The Harvest at Earth's End.

We know you'll enjoy it.
