Guidelines for any discussions on The Harvest at Earth’s End.
We're glad you're here--and can't wait to see what you think about our content.
We want you to be a resource for fellow travelers of the study of the last days and we hope that you’ll use our comment section to do that. Our aim is to elevate and amplify the most intelligent and civil responses and diminish or hide the worst. Our hope is that this to be a community that encourages everyone to share without fear of harsh responses. When someone shares a personal story or comment, respect is especially necessary.

Rules
Being Christians, we are disciples of Jesus the Christ and follow His example. As such, a certain type of behavior is expected.
1. Treat other members with the respect and decorum. Follow the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated.
2. Flaming is considered anything that is said or done to insult another member. Ad hominem attacks, insults, bashing, hurling insults, transmitting bigotry, name-calling, or any outright verbal hostility directed at a specific person or belief system is prohibited. All members are to be treated fairly. As your mother told you, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, don't say it at all”. If there is a serious issue that needs to be addressed, please contact a moderator. If you are caught flaming, then you will get an immediate warning, if flaming is directed toward a staff member you may be banned. Attempting to start "drama" will not be tolerated. Users who continue to post inflammatory, abusive comments will be deleted from the forum after two warnings issued by moderators.
3. Harassment. No threats or harassment of other users will be tolerated. Any instance of threatening or harassing behavior is grounds for deletion from the forums.
4. Trolls shall be dispatched post haste with the use of the Holy Hand grenade of Antioch. “Stirring the pot”, starting quarrels or upsetting members by sowing discord, posting inflammatory and digressive, extraneous, or off-topic messages on THEE website with the intent of provoking an emotional response is not permitted.
5. The forum language is English only. Please only post in other languages in PM.
6. Please do not post threads text using all CAPITALS since this is considered to be shouting and is not necessary.
7. Using red text is forbidden. Only moderators and administrators may use this.
8. Please do not post inappropriate material, I think everyone understands what I mean by this. The policy goes that if you would not feel comfortable viewing it at work, or in front of children or your parents, don't post it! Profanity, swearing or pornography is NOT allowed. Posts containing adult material will be deleted and the poster banned.
9. No spam. All automated messages, advertisements, and links to competitor websites will be deleted immediately. Please do not promote your website, business, book, etc. Flooding members PM boxes with spam is also not tolerated.
10. No Impersonation: Impersonation means trying to be someone else. This isn't allowed on this forum and you will be banned without prior notice.
11. Post in relevant sub-forums only. Messages posted in the wrong topic area will be removed and placed in the correct sub-forum by moderators.
12. Bandwidth. All images and signatures must be 800x600 pixels or smaller. Posts containing over-sized images and signatures will be removed.
13. No Plagiarism: Do not steal other people's works and post them on this forum as your own. If you find something cool, that you'd like to share, please provide a link to that site. If you are using information form another site, you must credit them in the post. Stealing information and calling it your own will not be tolerated.
14. Topics to Avoid: Politics, theology and doctrine are off limits. Please abide by this. People tend to have strong feelings about these topics, and they often lead to flame wars. Do not post about any kind of illegal activities.

16. No hacking, and illegal activity, such as torrents and illegal downloads, this will not be tolerated, and if appropriate, will be reported to local authority.
17. No Alternate Accounts: IP's are provided to us once you have posted. This will be checked to verify that you do not have multiple accounts. Attempting to do this will result in a ban. If there is a circumstance where you think your IP may show up for different accounts, contact us FIRST, so we are aware of the situation. This offense will result in an immediate ban. There will be NO WARNINGS.
I think these rules are clear, and easy to follow. These are only in place to ensure our community is a fun place to be, and a comfortable atmosphere for all.
